Learning to cope with daily stressors, and address things having caused such pain in the past and present is something individual therapy can help with. Speaking freely to a therapist will help you develop better coping skills, and deal more effectively with increased awareness and confidence.

During your time in therapy you’ll feel uncomfortable and will want to give up but that is the process. Your emotions are there to help you identify your triggers and appreciate what they are there for. Acknowledging what your thoughts and body is telling you can benefit you in regulating your feelings and discomforts. But getting there can take some work, and you might want to retreat but your therapist will not abdandon you.

Things feel hard right now…but it doesn’t have to be this way forever.

You don’t have to experience anxiety, depression, intrusive thoughts, lonliness, and questioning your worth alone.

You don’t have to be that parent that daily believes your life is over, you want your old life back; you wonder if you are a good parent, you hear from everyone that you are doing it all wrong, you are tired, you want to give up, you want to be alone but can’t, you don’t have the help you wish you had, you see your friends on social media with their babys smiling and engaged and you hate yourself more.

You want to cry all the time, you feel like you are looking out onto the world and you are not in it. You have lost babies and now you have one but you can’t connect with your baby, you don’t understand why you feel this way when you fought so hard to have our baby, you are crying and in pain but want no one to see it. You are alone.

You want so much more but you feel it’s impossible, it’s so far away, it’s unattainable. You’ve never lived a life worth having, you’ve never felt love, you’ve never felt happy, you question how you’re supposed to feel any of these things if you have no idea what if feels like.

You served your country in the military and feel alone because it seems so far away . You don’t understand what is happening and can’t let go of the time past. You can’t connect to now, today, you feel stuck.

You are not alone and we are here to help.
